Anonymous: Hi guys! I just got put on birth control for my horrible period cramps and have no intention of having vaginal intercourse with my boyfriend. However, we would like to engage in other kinds of outercourse. Would you be able to provide me with some information on activities that have NO pregnancy risk? Thanks in advance!

    Hi anon,

There are lots of sexual behaviors that partners can engage in that do not have a risk for pregnancy. However, you and your partner may want to take into account the risk for STDs associated with these activities as well. For example, oral sex has no risk for pregnancy, but has a risk for STDs. The risk for STDs with oral sex is greatly reduced if the partners use condoms and dental dams.
