Having a period is a sign that a person is not pregnant. Not to mention, condoms are 98-percent effective with perfect use at preventing pregnancy and are highly effective at preventing the transmission of STDs. The risk of pregnancy from the situation you described is low.

If you are concerned you may want to take a pregnancy test, though. The most accurate time to take one is the day before a period is due or if it is late.
